



Special Adviser to the Governor, Ministry of Works and Infrastructure Engr. Adekunle Olayinka has pledged to provide the required leadership and support to the Lagos State Infrastructure Asset Management Agency, LASIAMA, to actualize its statutory mandate.
Speaking at a Conference Room of LASIAMA during his visit to the Agency, the Governor’s aide assured the staff of the Agency that the purpose of his visit was for cooperation and collaboration to ensure that the Agency delivered on its mandate of management and maintenance of the vast portfolio of Lagos State Government Assets.
While urging the staffers of the Agency to upscale their performance and restore the reputation of the Agency by doing the right things, the Special Adviser said that the purpose of his visit was to cooperate and collaborate to ensure that the Agency delivered on its mandate of management and maintenance of the vast portfolio of Lagos State Government Assets.
Engr. Olayinka stressed that he is ready to listen to the challenges facing the Agency and look at how the Ministry of Works can proffer solutions to them or refer them to the higher authority to facilitate smooth operations and delivery of quality services.
The Special Adviser advised the professionals charged with project monitoring to be up and doing in visiting sites and ensuring quality works are done by contractors.
“I want to charge you all to intensify your efforts so that we can justify the confidence of Mr. Governor in us by delivering on the mandate of the Ministry. You have to do all you can to ensure quality works are done especially at the health facilities you manage so that the law establishing your Agency is not put into disrepute, he said.
He further urged the management and staff of LASIAMA to give their necessary support and cooperation to the Ag. General Manager to enable him to deliver on the assignment.
Olayinka stated that the visitation underscored the commitment of his office to ensure Agencies under the Ministry of Works deliver to the satisfaction of the Lagos public.
The Ag. General Manager, LASIAMA, Mr. Adekunle Adesanya alongside the Agency’s management staff welcomed the team.
Mr. Adesanya took the team through how LASIAMA has keyed into the @jidesanwoolu administration’s Agenda and its role in aggressive and sustainable infrastructural renewal in the State.
